The incorporated entity running these events is known as the Holt Challenge Inc.
Darrell Holt Restricted Challenge
Each year, the Darrell Holt Restricted Challenge determines the best zone representative team of bowlers with averages not exceeding 184 in the Men’s Division and 174 in the Women’s Division in a handicapped competition. Each team consists of seven players, with five on the lanes at any one time.
Participation in the Darrell Holt Restricted Challenge is limited to one team in each of the Men’s and Women’s divisions from the following zones:- North Queensland – South Queensland - New South Wales - Victoria - Tasmania - South Australia - Western Australia - Australian Capital Territory - Northern Territory and an invitational team.
Darrell Holt Classic Challenge
2008 saw the introduction of the Darrell Holt Classic Challenge to determine the best zone representative team of bowlers with averages not exceeding 199 for the Men and 189 for the Women’s Division in a scratch competition. Each team consists of six players, with four (2 men and 2 women) on the lanes at any one time.
Participation in the Darrell Holt Classic Challenge is limited to one team from the following zones:- North Queensland – South Queensland - New South Wales - Victoria - Tasmania - South Australia - Western Australia - Australian Capital Territory - Northern Territory and an invitational team.
